Mike is an Automotive Professional with more than 35 years in the industry.
He began his career on the showroom floor and quickly advanced through different roles in Sales, Fleet, F&I, Sales Manager and finally, General Manager.
Mike has been interested in training since his early days as a Sales Manager when he discovered a passion for developing sales skills in others. He has been a life-long student of training and curriculum development.
In 1995 he went to work in the training industry full-time when he accepted a role as National Sales and Service trainer / Curriculum Developer for General Motors of Canada, a position he held for more than 19 years. In this role, he built National training programs with his team and travelled coast to coast to deliver this training to dealership personnel. Additionally, he built and delivered Ride & Drive events, training initiatives, and Show events in addition to classroom training. He wrote hundreds of video scripts and Highly interactive distance learning programs and was often the on-camera personality for those videos and HIDL classes.
Eight years ago, Mike left that role to operate his own training company and has been delivering custom training programs to Auto Manufacturers and large dealer groups.
